Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Watsonx Specialist with deep expertise in the design, implementation, and configuration of the Watsonx platform including Watsonx.ai, Watsonx.governance, Watsonx Discovery, and Watsonx Assistant. This role is pivotal in supporting a non-production deployment and post-provisioning support for a major client infrastructure program.

Job Responsibility:

Provisioning & Planning
Conduct workshops for pre-requisites, security hardening policies, and provisioning design
Develop up to 10 pages of detailed provisioning documentation
Infrastructure Setup
Support the deployment of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.16 on a single-node non-production cluster (HCI Appliance)
Provision Red Hat OpenShift AI (OAI) 2.9 and associated Fusion Storage operators, integrating the client’s chosen image management tools
Watsonx Suite Deployment
Provision IBM Software Hub (ISH), Watsonx.ai, Watsonx.governance, Watsonx Discovery, and Watsonx Assistant
Deploy services into Development and Test namespaces within the OpenShift environment, adhering to client-specific security requirements
Configuration & Integration
Configure platform connections, storage volumes, and infrastructure to support Watsonx components
Integrate the Watsonx suite with the client’s Active Directory (LDAP)
Support, Handover & Post-Deployment Consulting
Provide up to 10 days of assistance with infrastructure design, documentation, and security/penetration testing
Deliver 1 day of operational knowledge transfer and environment handover
Offer 15 days of on-site consulting to perform software health checks, apply updates, and optimise system performance across the Watsonx stack

Requirements:

In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Watsonx.ai
Watsonx.governance
Watsonx Discovery
Watsonx Assistant
Proven experience deploying IBM Watsonx solutions in secure, enterprise-grade environments
Strong understanding of Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.16 and OAI 2.9) and HCI infrastructure
Familiarity with enterprise security policies, penetration testing, and platform hardening practices
Experience integrating platforms with Active Directory / LDAP
