Consor Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineering Intern to join our Phoenix, AZ office. This opportunity is ideal for graduate students pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering disciplines who are interested in gaining hands‑on experience with municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. Job Responsibility
Supporting the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projects
Assisting with treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizing
Preparing technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documents
Assisting with development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Collaborating with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical team members
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline
Completion of an undergraduate engineering degree
Strong interest in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Nice to have
Coursework or research experience related to water or wastewater treatment processes
Familiarity with engineering calculations, technical writing, or data analysis
Familiarity with treatment process modeling or design software
Self‑motivated with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
