Job Description

Consor Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineering Intern to join our Phoenix, AZ office. This opportunity is ideal for graduate students pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering disciplines who are interested in gaining hands‑on experience with municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projects
  • Assisting with treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizing
  • Preparing technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documents
  • Assisting with development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborating with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical team members
  • Supporting high‑quality, client‑focused project delivery

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline
  • Completion of an undergraduate engineering degree
  • Strong interest in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Coursework or research experience related to water or wastewater treatment processes
  • Familiarity with engineering calculations, technical writing, or data analysis
  • Familiarity with treatment process modeling or design software
  • Self‑motivated with a strong attention to detail
