Consor Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer (PE) to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. Job Responsibility

  • Lead and support the planning, design, and evaluation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including process selection and system optimization
  • Develop and review engineering design packages, including process flow diagrams, plans, specifications, and technical memoranda
  • Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, master plans, and permitting documentation
  • Perform process calculations and evaluations for treatment systems such as filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, solids handling, and odor control
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural) to deliver integrated treatment solutions
  • Support project pursuits, including proposal development and participation in client interviews
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and quality assurance throughout project delivery

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering
  • Familiarity with treatment process modeling, permitting, and regulatory coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Nice to have

  • Master’ degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline
  • Experience with treatment process modeling, facility upgrades, and regulatory permitting
  • Familiarity with state and federal water/wastewater regulations
