Job Description

Consor Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer (EIT) to join our Phoenix, AZ office. In this role, you will support the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities serving municipal clients. This position provides hands‑on exposure to treatment processes and facility design while building a strong foundation for long‑term career growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projects
  • Assisting with treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizing
  • Preparing technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documents
  • Assisting with development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers
  • Supporting high‑quality, client‑focused project delivery

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience
  • Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • Design experience on water or wastewater projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project

Nice to have

  • Exposure to water and/or wastewater treatment facilities
  • Familiarity with treatment processes such as filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, or solids handling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and client service
