Class 1 or Class 3 license (for Plant Watering Driver and Hauling positions)
Class 1 or Class 3 license or Class 5 with Air Brakes (for Watering - Tandem or Single Axle position)

Job Responsibility

Transport equipment and materials to various project locations in Calgary and surrounding areas
For Water Truck Drivers: Learn to effectively promote healthy plant growth through watering
Identify when an area is in need of extra water
For Plant Watering Driver: Work with logistics manager to deliver water safely and timely
Inspect health and moisture levels of plant material and water appropriately
For Watering - Tandem or Single Axle: Deliver water to sites to minimize dust
For Hauling - Tandem Axle: Work with logistics manager to deliver equipment and materials safely and timely
Load materials and equipment daily

Possession and maintenance of a valid Class A CDL and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is essential, including familiarity with Caterpillar machinery
Commercial driving experience is required
a valid commercial driver’s license is preferred
Previous construction site experience is highly desirable, with skills in paving and tanker operations being an asset
Knowledge of hydrovac operations and safety protocols is a plus
Experience working with various types of excavation equipment such as graders and water trucks will be beneficial
