The purpose of this position is to test, chlorinate and take samples to facilitate the commissioning of new Water Networks across England and Wales.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain safe working practices at all times in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974), including correct use of PPE
Carry out testing, chlorination, sampling, and commissioning of water infrastructure in accordance with water authority procedures to support final and secondary connections
Follow approved method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures to ensure high safety and technical standards
Accept, inspect, and verify plant, materials, vehicles, and equipment are fit for purpose, reporting defects promptly
Identify and report contract variations early in line with company procedures
Complete daily site-specific risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment
Accurately record work completed and submit required information for reporting and invoicing within agreed timescales
Requirements:
Water Safety Passport / Water Hygiene Card / SHEA Water or similar
Experience in the water industry
Full driving licence (essential)
Willingness to participate in a standby rota
