Job Description

This role supports the Water Testing Engineer in testing, chlorinating, commissioning, and sampling new water networks. You will follow strict safety standards, ensure high technical quality, and support the delivery of new water infrastructure in line with company procedures. This position covers the Southwest England region.

Job Responsibility

  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear correct PPE
  • Assist the Water Testing Engineer with pressure testing, chlorination, and commissioning of water infrastructure
  • Learn and follow all testing, chlorinating, and sampling procedures
  • Support with Final Connections (complex and non-complex) and Secondary Connections
  • Accept plant and material deliveries and check fitness for purpose
  • Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment
  • report defects
  • Assist in identifying contract variations and report to the Project Manager
  • Complete daily site-specific risk assessments

Requirements

  • Water Safety Passport / Water Hygiene Card or similar
  • Experience in water / other utility construction site
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • Willingness to participate in a standby rota
