Job Responsibility

Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear correct PPE
Assist the Water Testing Engineer with pressure testing, chlorination, and commissioning of water infrastructure
Learn and follow all testing, chlorinating, and sampling procedures
Support with Final Connections (complex and non-complex) and Secondary Connections
Accept plant and material deliveries and check fitness for purpose
Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment
report defects
Assist in identifying contract variations and report to the Project Manager
Complete daily site-specific risk assessments

Job Responsibility

Exercise safe working practices in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), wearing appropriate PPE at all times
Assist the Water Testing Engineer in pressure testing, chlorinating, and commissioning water infrastructure
Gain a thorough understanding of water testing, chlorinating, and sampling procedures
Support Final and Secondary Connections activities (complex and non-complex)
Conduct daily site-specific risk assessments
Ensure vehicles, plant, and equipment are in good condition, reporting defects

Maintain tools, equipment, and testing instruments in good working condition
Prepare sample registers, field sheets, and assist in report compilation
Support in identifying defective, tampered, or under-registering meters
Assist in pipeline survey, leakage identification, and NRW-related field work
Ensure proper handling of equipment and follow site safety guidelines
