Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of water-related infrastructure projects. This role focuses on stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics (H&H), and drainage systems for municipal, state, and federal clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and deliver stormwater, drainage, and water resources engineering projects from concept through construction
  • Perform and oversee H&H modeling, stormwater analysis, and design of drainage systems
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for water quality and flood control
  • Oversee scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and contract compliance
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with other engineering disciplines
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff
  • Develop proposals, pursue new opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in water resources engineering, including stormwater and drainage design
  • Proficiency in H&H modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with municipal stormwater systems, floodplain analysis, and erosion control
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS tools
  • Business development experience in a consulting environment
