About the Role: We are expanding our Water Resources team to support a diverse portfolio of hydraulic, hydrological, and mining water management projects across Latin America and internationally. The Water Resources Intern role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary consulting environment. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and project teams, contributing to data analysis, hydraulic modeling, and engineering design support while strengthening your technical and professional skills.
Job Responsibility
Process and analyze hydrological, hydraulic, and field monitoring data
Support hydraulic modeling and analysis using tools such as HEC‑RAS
Develop, maintain, and update technical databases for field and laboratory data
Track, organize, and manage results from hydrological studies and site investigations
Assist in seepage and infiltration analysis for hydraulic and mining-related structures (e.g., tailings storage facilities)
Contribute to the design and evaluation of hydraulic and drainage systems
Support quantity take-offs and basic engineering calculations
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on water resources projects
Requirements
Current university studies (8th semester or above) in Geology, Civil Engineering, or related fields, with a focus on Water Resources, Hydraulics, or Hydrology
Knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and water management principles
Proficiency in technical tools such as HEC‑RAS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GeoSlope/Seep/W (basic to intermediate)
Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI)
High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage technical information
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively under supervision with a proactive attitude
