Infinity provides a comprehensive range of services within the fields of asbestos, legionella, mechanical and electrical services, fire compliance services and facilities management nationwide. Our highly skilled, flexible team works closely with those within both the public and private sector, from tier one commercial operators through to local authorities. We currently have an excellent opportunity available for a Water Hygiene Manager to join the Infinity team in Barnsley on a permanent basis. As the Water Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Water Hygiene department, as well as providing professional water hygiene services on behalf of the Group.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide leadership, management and direction in a manner consistent with the Norse Group values
  • Oversee all aspects of quality management for the whole water hygiene team in order to satisfy LCA and other water hygiene standards
  • Implement and maintain a robust quality system to maintain relevant accreditations
  • Providing a technical lead for water hygiene services, ensuring all works comply with LCA standards of service delivery, HSG274 Part 2 & 3 and current legislation as well as working to Norse policies
  • Keep up to date with developments in legislation, practices and technology and ensuring services remain up to date
  • Take responsibility for the departmental budget, maximising efficiency through effective use of technology and performance management of the team
  • Train/mentor water hygiene team leaders
  • Ensure all training needs are identified and actioned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in a related discipline and/or can demonstrate significant relevant experience
  • Relevant water hygiene related qualifications including legionella risk assessment of hot & cold water systems, legionella monitoring of hot & hold water systems etc.
  • Experience in team management, development, and mentoring
  • Experience in quoting and financial management
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full UK driving licence to meet travel requirements of the role
