Knowledge of structural engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience
Team player and interest in multidisciplinary work, willingness to acquire basic knowledge in other technical fields (mechanical and electrical engineering)
Good English skills at B2-C1 level
Good skills in Microsoft Suite
Solid knowledge in BIM Methodology (openBIM) and collaboration platforms (BIMCollab, etc.)
Solid software skills for structural engineering calculations (for ex. SOFiSTiK, TEKLA

Job Responsibility

Design of civil work structures such as tanks, basins, pumping stations, service buildings for domestic wastewater treatment plants (predominantly designed with reinforced concrete)
Basic sizing given by process engineers
afterwards responsible design work and information collection from machinery and electromechanical equipment as well as from HVAC and EMCR to design a facility that fits to the process and to common rules of design in wastewater treatment (for example German DWA)
The design process follows several stages according to Swiss SIA and or German HOAI (Project basis, feasibility study, pre-design, basic engineering design, authority approval design, submission and proposal phase, detailed design
Design of civil works structures according to BIM methodology together with BIM modelers
Participation in internal / external meetings and video conferences
Regular reporting to Project Managers
