The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Water Conservation Specialist. The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the development, monitoring and implementation of the City's water conservation program, including customer service, community outreach, rebate program support, adult workshops and youth education.
Requirements:
An Associate's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Resource Management, Environmental Science, Urban Planning or related field
2 years of experience in water conservation, water management, or program management
A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Nice to have:
Prior experience providing public presentations that include both technical and educational topics
Prior experience working with irrigation systems.
