Bachelor's Degree (typically in Park Management)
2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Park Management) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Parks Superintendent II
Commercial pesticide applicators certification
First Aid & CPR
Water distribution level 1 certification at the very least
OR 5-7 years of progressive work experience (typically in Park Management) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Parks Superintendent II
Commercial pesticide applicators certification
First Aid & CPR
Water distribution level 1 certification at the very least
Knowledge of the SPHS permitting and fee collection system and procedures

Job Responsibility

Oversight of all State Parks and Historic Site operations, maintenance, and budgets within Wyoming State Parks designated District 6
Guide and direct superintendents regarding public relations, fee collection, operations and maintenance, visitor services, interpretive programming, personnel, and budget
Serve as a representative of both the Division and Agency Leadership Teams to help create, support, and implement statewide Division budgets, personnel allocation, rules and regulations, policies, and broader Division goals and initiatives
Personnel Management: Supervise all State Park and Historic Site permanent and seasonal employees within the Wyoming State Parks designated Shoshone District
Budget Management: Plan, create, allocate, and implement Shoshone District and site-specific biennial budgets
Equipment and Vehicle Management: Work with other District Managers and Deputy Directors to prioritize state-wide Division equipment purchases
Public Relations: Represent the Division of State Parks, Historic Sites, and Trails at various public meetings, special events, collaborative working groups, conferences, and engagements
Oversee the District's Buildings and Ground Maintenance: Ensure Shoshone District water systems, sewer systems, campgrounds, lodges, yurts, cabins, rental operations, concessions, visitor centers, and roads are assessed, documented, and receive appropriate maintenance funding
Customer Service: Work with superintendents and the senior management team to maintain initiatives, create and implement new initiatives, marketing techniques, and relevant programming to meet the changing needs of the Division and its visitors
Interpretation: Work with district superintendents, the district interpretive ranger, field staff, and planning and marketing staff to develop, implement, and promote high-quality, innovative, interpretive programming, signage, and exhibits at each district site

Collaborate with sales leadership and proactively interface with CIO/CISO level customer leadership to gain insight and feedback on how to provide the best post sales experience. Lead when necessary in critical customer situations
Work in alignment with the Area leaders to represent PANW to customers where required and deliver an exceptional customer experience
Actively participate as a core leader of the GCS EMEA leadership team bringing the specific Area related opportunities and challenges to the leadership team with data to enable effective and efficient execution
Build a strong cross functional interlock and operating cadence with Sales, Product and Technical Consulting teams in Area
Develop a high performance team of GCS staff creating a cohesive GCS organisation at Area level including direct and matrixed reports and organisations
Build a growth mindset oriented culture that promotes diversity, continuous improvement, a sense of urgency and customer outcomes
Own and drive the overall GCS execution programs
measure, monitor, and report GCS key quarterly targets and metrics and drive programs to assure continuous improvement
