Our client is a globally renowned Swiss watchmaker, celebrated for inventing the modern chronograph and pioneering precision tool watches. With over a century of heritage, the brand continues to set benchmarks in the luxury horology industry. Known for its distinctive modern-retro identity and strong commitment to sustainability, it remains one of the few independent watchmakers producing its own in-house calibers. They are currently seeking a meticulous and passionate Watchmaker to join their Southeast Asia technical team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out high-quality repair and servicing of luxury timepieces, ensuring precision and craftsmanship at every stage
  • Adhere strictly to company standards, technical specifications, and established repair methodologies
  • Utilize the company’s ERP system to accurately track repair workflows and maintain proper documentation
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team productivity targets aligned with business objectives
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned workstations, tools, and shared workshop equipment
  • Comply with workplace safety standards, including proper attire and protective equipment, while contributing to overall workshop operations

Requirements:

  • Possesses a recognized Diploma in Watchmaking (e.g., W.O.S.T.E.P. or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in watchmaking, with at least 3 years in a Swiss After-Sales Service environment being an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of both quartz and mechanical movements. Experience in case and bracelet assembly, as well as dial and hand setting, is highly desirable
  • Highly focused with excellent hand-eye coordination. A problem-solver who is able to manage deadlines while meeting the expectations of a luxury clientele
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, capable of building effective relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor Degree
