Amentum provides warning and all-source analytical support to DIA’s Defense Combating Terrorism Office to drive DoD policy, planning, and operational decisions to counter regional and transnational terrorism threats. We conduct mission-critical counterterrorism analysis focused on operational and strategic effects against emerging terrorist threat networks and identities operating globally with intent to harm U.S. persons, facilities, and interests.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver national watchlisting support to TIDE database
Provide expert assessments for Pentagon/Joint Staff
Provide 24/7/365 support to DoD and senior policy decision makers
Support Congressionally-mandated Prisoner of War/Missing in Action cell
Support global hostage threats or events against U.S. citizens
Requirements:
TS/SCI clearance
High School/GED
Minimum 2 years of experience
Systematically review DoD datasets for terrorist identifying information
Identity, prioritize, and record information on known or suspected terrorists
Crosscheck/research against other intelligence holdings
Compile information into nomination reports
Meet Terrorist Identity Nomination (TIN) production schedule
Correct and resubmit incorrect reports
Provide guidance for less experienced team members
General knowledge of IC organizations
Attend meetings and analytic exchanges
General information systems experience
In-depth knowledge of terrorist organizations
Nice to have:
4 years of experience with portion within last 2 years
Bachelor’s degree in related area
Understanding of ODNI’s ICDs 203, 206, 208
Ability to produce formal written strategic counterterrorism assessments
Experience using research databases and quantifiable matrices
