Waste Water Operations Mechanic

• Train, understand, and gain the knowledge necessary to maintain the wastewater and potable water systems at the complex
• Maintain assets in the environmental department, tracking activities through the Maximo interface for all preventative and precision maintenance conducted
• Maintain inventory of critical parts and accessories necessary for operation in a structured, neatly-organized manner
• Manage costs at or below budget by limiting the use of outside contractors and through the strategic ordering of necessary parts and services
• Cross-train wastewater operators in basic maintenance procedures to ensure the proper operation of all equipment/components
• Utilize good housekeeping techniques to maintain the environmental department in a safe, neat, and organized state
• The wastewater maintenance associate will coordinate and perform maintenance activities in the environmental department under the direction of the Environmental Manager II
• Assist the environmental manager in other assigned duties as necessary

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of maintenance-related experience
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to climb ladders and lift loads up to 100 pounds

2 years of maintenance related experience preferred
