Requirements

Previous administration experience within the Waste, Recycling or Quarry industry is essential
Strong understanding of waste industry processes, terminology and site operations
Excellent data entry and administrative skills
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Weighbridge experience will be highly regarded
Candidates without previous Waste, Recycling or Quarry industry experience will not be considered for this position

Job Responsibility

Job Responsibility

Identifying and dealing with contaminated recycling where required
Completing waste tickets, Waste Transfer Notes and Consignment Notes accurately
Reporting health & safety incidents and near misses
Using PPE correctly and ensuring visitors are doing the same
Undertaking required training, including First Aider, Incident Controller and Materials Handler training
