Waste Management Driver/Labourer

• Operating specialised plant such as Street Sweepers and waste collection vehicles
• Driving fleet vehicles (MR class and above) across designated routes and depots
• General manual handling tasks (shovelling, raking, pit cleaning, and heavy lifting)
• Assisting with waste disposal and ensuring all precinct maintenance is done to a high standard
• Implementing traffic control to ensure the safety of the crew and the general public
• Maintaining safety logs and performing daily pre-start checks on all equipment

• Ability to perform physically demanding manual work in various weather conditions
• A solid commitment to Work Health and Safety and public safety
• Must hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Must hold a Traffic Management Ticket (Traffic Control/Implement Traffic Management)
• Must have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Must hold a minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence
