Job Description:

Reporting into the Waste Facility Manager you will play a key role in driving our mission forward by assisting with loading and unloading waste from Grundon vehicles and third-party customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming waste materials
  • Accurately weigh waste using weighbridge software, complete required documentation, and issue weighbridge ticket
  • Operate our offensive waste compactor safely and efficiently
  • Run bin wash machines and carry out bin repairs, ensuring all bins are clean, well maintained, and ready for return to customers
  • Support the safe movement, handling, and storage of waste across the facility
  • Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment
  • Any other duties, such as ad hoc projects, as requested by the job holder’s Manager/Supervisor or the Board of Directors that are within the skills and capabilities of the job holder
