Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Waste Collection Manager to join our Bedford team. This is a fast-paced, field-based role where you'll lead from the front - growing a customer base, developing your team, and delivering an outstanding waste service. Job Responsibility

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of waste collection representatives, spending time in the field to support and improve performance
  • Drive revenue growth by sourcing and winning new business and developing existing customer accounts
  • Manage and grow customer relationships, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery
  • Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and work orders to maximise efficiency and performance
  • Deliver against individual, team, and branch sales and waste targets
  • Handle customer queries and issues promptly, maintaining high service standards
  • Manage team availability, including holiday and sickness cover, to ensure consistent service
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with HSEQ standards
