Job Description:

Join Our Waste & Recycling Team – The Unsung Heroes of the Resort. Our Waste & Recycling Team are the quiet champions of the resort — the people who keep everything clean, safe and welcoming so our guests can focus on making memories. You’ll play a key part in keeping our resort looking its best, helping us stay environmentally responsible, and making sure our waste and recycling systems run like clockwork. It’s active, hands‑on work with a great sense of purpose, and you’ll be joining a supportive team who know how important their role is to the guest experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collect general waste, recycling and food waste from accommodation areas, public areas, restaurants and operational departments
  • Transport waste safely to designated disposal or compaction areas
  • Operate waste compactors, balers and refuse vehicles (if trained and authorised)
  • Ensure correct segregation of recyclable materials in line with environmental policies
  • Maintain refuse compounds and bin storage areas in a clean and organised condition
  • Clean and disinfect bins as required
  • Respond promptly to spillages or waste-related hazards
  • Support wider site cleanliness during busy periods where required
  • Follow all health & safety procedures including manual handling guidance
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Report hazards, damaged bins or unsafe practices immediately
  • Adhere to environmental legislation and company sustainability initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with cleaning, facilities and operational teams
  • Support peak changeover days and high-volume waste periods
  • Provide courteous and professional interaction with guests when visible on resort
