Job Responsibility

Collect general waste, recycling and food waste from accommodation areas, public areas, restaurants and operational departments
Transport waste safely to designated disposal or compaction areas
Operate waste compactors, balers and refuse vehicles (if trained and authorised)
Ensure correct segregation of recyclable materials in line with environmental policies
Maintain refuse compounds and bin storage areas in a clean and organised condition
Clean and disinfect bins as required
Respond promptly to spillages or waste-related hazards
Support wider site cleanliness during busy periods where required
Follow all health & safety procedures including manual handling guidance
Wear appropriate PPE at all times
