Job Description

Responsible for managing washing operations, ensuring garment quality, process efficiency, and timely completion of orders. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end operations of our industrial washing and dyeing department, ensuring absolute precision in color consistency, fabric hand-feel, and chemical formulations. In this fast-paced manufacturing environment, your technical expertise is essential to maintaining our world-class quality standards, driving sustainable chemical management, and ensuring that every sweater meets the rigorous expectations of our premium global clientele.

Job Responsibility

  • Expert-level shade assessment and visual approval workflows, with preferred experience in Datacolor reporting
  • Strong technical knowledge of yarn/fabric testing, focusing on colorfastness and physical performance metrics (shrinkage, pilling, torque)
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing technical properties of greige and dyed yarns for flatbed knitting
  • Proven ability to monitor and optimize dyehouse and chemical supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and timelines
  • Deep understanding of commercial washing, garment dyeing, chemical reactions, and premium knitwear finishing machinery.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized university or institute
  • Specialized certifications in advanced colorimetry, computerized color matching systems (Datacolor), or laboratory quality management systems (ISO 17025)
  • 05 to 08+ years of hands-on experience within an industrial wash, dye, or fabric-finishing plant
  • Prior experience in a premium knitwear or sweater manufacturing facility is highly preferred, given the specific complexities of handling flatbed knitted panels and yarn performance.
