Job Description:

Sulzer is looking for a Warranty Manager to cover maternity leave starting March 2026 (with some handover in February). This is a fixed-term contract until March 2027, offering a unique opportunity to work at the heart of our global operations. Sulzer is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of advanced pumping solutions, serving critical markets such as oil and gas, power generation, water and wastewater, and industrial sectors worldwide. Our Leeds facility is a Centre of Excellence for advanced pump design and manufacturing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take full ownership of warranty claim deliverables, including hardware, financial and commercial outputs, dispute resolution, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage claims under Sulzer’s Global Claims Management Process, ensuring timely execution and cost efficiency
  • Initiate root cause investigations, validate claims, and protect Sulzer’s contractual and financial position
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve successful claim resolutions
  • Drive continuous improvement, digitization, and automation within the warranty function

Requirements:

  • Experience in claims management, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Commercial acumen and ability to act independently
  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS check prior to starting
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
