Job Description:

Here at Vertu Union Motors Edinburgh we pride ourselves on our outstanding level of customer service and our well trained and knowledgeable staff are on hand to deal with any queries customers might have. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warranty Administrator to join our VAG Warranty Hub. The Warranty Administrator plays a key part in the relationship management between the dealership, customer and the manufacturer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Checking claims submitted by the sites
  • Submitting Warranty to the required manufacturer standards
  • Ensuring the submission of all invoiced jobs and assisting the Accounts department in the reconciliation of the Warranty payments
  • Dealing with rejected Warranty claims

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within the motor industry, whether it be in warranty or service
  • Experience using Kerridge
  • Organised
  • Efficient
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work within specified guidelines

  • Submit warranty, CVC and PDI claims to DAF in line with franchise agreement procedures
  • Ensure correct and timely return of parts in accordance with manufacturer requirements
  • Manage and reconcile the payment of warranty claims between Adams Morey, DAF and the customer
  • Apply warranty processes across other franchise agreements held by the business
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all associated documentation
  • Provide high-quality verbal and written communication, including internal reports, customer documentation and Department of Transport documents
  • Work in line with company quality processes and operating procedures
  • Identify and record any issues relating to products, services, processes or systems, and assist in implementing solutions
  • Take action to prevent non-conformance within the company’s quality system
  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment
