Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for a Warranty Administrator at our manufacturing facility located in Elkhart, IN.
Job Responsibility:
Answers phone calls related to warranty claims, product information, serial tag information and distributor locations
Validates information from submitted webform to assign warranty claims
Evaluates relevant information from customers to accurately adjudicate warranty claims
Enters, organizes, and maintains data information for all warranty related issues
Assists in gathering warranty database information for Quality or Engineering purposes
Submits warranty invoices for payment on warranty claims
Handles customer complaints to works toward resolution and ensures a satisfactory customer experience
Performs other tasks or duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to read and understand basic technical information, product specifications, or part numbers
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing claims and entering data
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and determine appropriate resolutions
Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, distributors, and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to learn internal warranty management systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service
High School diploma or equivalent studies
1-3 Years Experience in an office or call center environment
Strong customer service skills
