Job Description:

The purpose of the Warehouseperson is to successfully perform the specified procedure or task in the Warehouse Operations department. These procedures or tasks may include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping with a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction and warehouse performance.

Job Responsibility:

Observe all safety rules including safe lifting techniques
Receive and stock Inbound orders manually and with material handling equipment
Note quantity and discrepancies and record damages
Process required documents with accuracy
Process Inbound orders using RF technology
Process Outbound orders using manual techniques and material handling equipment
Verify inventory accuracy
Unload or load trailers, verify bills of lading, and check for transit damage
Monitor and report equipment damages and operational issues
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all areas
Train other associates and new hires
Understand and test organizational compliance topics
Observe all quality standards and follow standard operating procedures
Verification of information printed on receiving and picking labels
Develop working knowledge of each department's processes and procedures
Process HazMat materials following regulatory requirements
Complete inbound and outbound orders within established goals

Requirements:

0-3 years in warehousing, distribution environment preferably automotive
HS Diploma or equivalent
