Job Description:

IntermodeX is Western Canada's largest integrated logistics company, linking cargo moved by rail, barge, and truck to global markets. We are now hiring multiple Warehouse Workers at our two Prince Rupert facilities. All new employees will be casual until they complete their probation. IntermodeX is a unionized environment.

Job Responsibility:

Load and unload containers

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. regularly
  • Shift work is scheduled daily and is based on seniority

Nice to have:

Container handling experience

  • Comply with all department and company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety and attendance
  • Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers
  • Weigh materials, wrap and stack goods
  • Pack, unpack, sort, label and organize goods
