Job Description:

We are seeking local Warehouse Workers for the Pooraka branch to provide warehouse and distribution service to both internal and external customers. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will provide assistance in the day-to-day operations and activities in the Warehouse. The successful candidates must be able to work in a team environment with routine supervision and be able to understand detailed instructions.

Job Responsibility:

Liaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores’ operations
Weighing or shipping or receiving or delivery officer incorporating also dispatcher functions
Receiving, receipting, pick, pack and dispatch of spare parts and materials
Conduct project work
Assist with inventory control
Prepare shipping documentation
Enter detailed data entry in Sandvik IT systems
Undertake discrepancy investigation and implement corrective actions
Conduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes
Implement quality control techniques and procedures
General warehouse maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ warehouse/stores experience in a Heavy Mining or Equipment Manufacturing environment
Current Forklift license
Comfortable with using SAP and RF scanners
Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable with implementing and driving OH&S policies and procedures
Drive, flexibility, high level of energy and enthusiasm
Excellent communication and customer relations skills
Able to collaborate and work with members of the wider team
Experienced with flexible shift work and rosters
Right to live and work in Australia
Willing to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
