Job Description:

As a member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for managing inventory and material flow, conducting cycle counts, investigating stock discrepancies, ensuring quality standards, updating system transactions, and stocking production areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurate & Consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Receive daily work assignments
  • Assists Team Lead and Team Manager with administrative and operational tasks
  • Report any deviations
  • Cross trains in multiple departments
  • Be active and engaged in the Daily Status Board Meetings
  • Review & suggest any improvements for the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Look into your own areas for waste elimination opportunities
  • Engaged in daily & weekly 5S routines
  • Use the downtime efficiently
  • Conduct themselves with professionalism
  • Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and manlifts
  • Full compliance with all Alfa Laval policies and procedures
  • Perform regular counts to validate inventory
  • Deliver necessary materials to appropriate workstations
  • Address internal department requests for material delivery

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Materials
  • Basic desk top computer skills required
  • Basic math skills required including the ability to read a tape measure
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Forklift operation certification preferred
  • Overhead crane experience preferred
