A leader in the manufacturing of high-end coaches and premium transit buses in North-America is looking for a Warehouse Warranty Specialist to join their team in Mississauga. Monday to Friday. • Standard shift: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. • Flexible options: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. • On-site position only. Hourly rate $26–$32 per hour. Contract role : 20 Weeks
Job Responsibility:
Receives incoming orders, checks for damages or missing components of shipments
Receives, documents and stores inbound shipments from factory in a timely and efficient manner
Puts parts into inventory location
Retrieves back-ordered items form inbound shipments. Identifies back-order customers and processes to back-order by packaging, invoicing and shipping
Processes customer orders that are part of incoming stock orders and advise appropriate parts specialist. Assists with inventory administration
Monitors and adjusts inventory levels as necessary
Maintains work area and environment clean and ordered
Participates in job-related training exercises when appropriate or necessary
Insures forklift is in good operating order
Assists employees in other job areas when necessary
Investigates, analyzes and processes the parts covered under warranty to determine the accuracy and condition of the part
Ensure proper part coding as per electronic warranty system
Work with the warranty department in applying / providing specific supplier agreements (either in how the parts are packaged, handled, making sure the part is from a specific supplier, providing date codes, pictures, etc.) in order to facilitate the process
Works in accordance with the SWR (Supplier Warranty Recovery) process
Participate in Operational Development team activities
Various other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
2 years of relevant warehouse experience (cars, buses or trucks)
