Job Description

Assist or perform other positions in the warehouse to include forklift, material handler, clerk positions. Keep facility clean and orderly including shipping, warehouse, and outside grounds by performing the following duties. Assist shift supervisor and/or lead in the areas of shipping, loading, receiving, warehouse storage, product rotation, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality and safety.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist or perform other positions in the warehouse to include forklift, material handler, clerk positions
  • Keep facility clean and orderly including shipping, warehouse, and outside grounds
  • Assist shift supervisor and/or lead in the areas of shipping, loading, receiving, warehouse storage, product rotation, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety
  • Assist or perform Material Handler, Forklift operator, Clerk, building & grounds duties
  • Support warehouse lead duties, release shipments, dock coordinator and check loaded pallets
  • Support inventory and warehouse clerk duties, inventory count reconciliation, process shipments and create Purchase Orders /Stock Transfer Order
  • Unload inbound shipments, load Direct Store Delivery trucks and put away and replenishment of product
  • Build pallets via paper order or Voice pick
  • Rework damaged product in warehouse
  • Sort product and replenish flow racks
  • Restack fallen product
  • Straighten and sort pallets and shells
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Operate efficiently to increase productivity while maintaining an excellent level of safety and quality in the workplace
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
