This role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally. To drive and motivate Team Members in the achievement of daily operational targets, set by the Supervisory Team, with a focus on guiding and developing staff under your control.
Job Responsibility:
Drive and motivate Team Members in the achievement of daily operational targets
Drive the daily performance of operatives, to achieve or exceed budgeted productivity and quality targets within a warehouse operation in line with departmental KPIs
Implement the daily staffing plan, ensuring optimum operational output at all times
Deliver training on operational procedures and processes in accordance with company strategy including but not exclusively Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Standard Operating Practice (SOP’s)
Actively endorse, promote and manage our Safety culture and status though but not exclusively team briefing, training and if applicable regular 121’s
Support the Outbound Manager in achieving departmental and company objectives
Carry out any reasonable request as determined by the Management Team promoting and supporting company initiatives
Take responsibility for managing direct reports, which includes leading coaching and motivating the team through effective leadership to achieve performance target
Requirements:
Ability to engage and motivate staff to create a positive work environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
Strong time management abilities with a key focus on staff management
Knowledge of department-specific systems with the confidence to learn additional processes and systems
Ability to use initiative within pre determined boundaries
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively within predetermined boundaries
Understanding of warehouse and distribution processes
Familiarity with Security, Audit and Compliance processes
