This is a key leadership role where you’ll be leading from the floor, motivating a team of 11–15, and keeping daily warehouse operations running safely, efficiently, and on time. Working closely with the wider operations team, you’ll take ownership of safety, people performance, and continuous improvement across the picking and inwards functions. You’ll be confident making decisions, coaching your team, and spotting opportunities to improve how work gets done — while maintaining strong standards around health & safety, quality, and delivery targets. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm with a salary up to $90,000 for the right candidate. There is a 1 in 4 Saturday roster for team leaders.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach, and motivate your team through clear communication and visible leadership on the floor
Champion health and safety, quality, and compliance standards and proactively identify risks, report incidents, and drive corrective actions
Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring delivery targets are achieved
Support inwards operations when required and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams
Drive a Kaizen mindset through process improvements and problem‑solving and apply lean tools such as 5 Why, 5S, GEMBA Walks, and toolbox talks to lift performance
Coach and mentor team members, building capability and succession and lead regular MBU1 (toolbox) sessions and performance conversations
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
Experience managing inwards and outwards operations
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
Confidence using warehouse systems and IT tools (ERP / SAP / NAV experience highly regarded)
A continuous improvement mindset with practical Kaizen experience
Sound decision‑making ability, backed by data and commercial awareness
Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills
A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and developing others
What we offer:
Competitive salary with annual reviews
Ongoing learning, development, and leadership training
Generous staff discounts across Vitaco brands
Onsite cafeteria and free parking
Access to discounted health insurance
A paid day off for your birthday
Wellness initiatives and access to in‑house naturopathic advice
A supportive, inclusive, and down‑to‑earth team culture
