The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the warehouse team continually supports all facets of operations, to include inbound receiving, outbound shipping and logistics, and production control. The supervisor will oversee all systematic and transactional activities, will be the key resource for all warehouse team members, and will implement continuous improvement activities that will increase replenishment efficiency and inventory accuracy. As the warehouse supervisor, you will be instrumental in setting the standard for support for both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise the three primary warehouse teams (shipping and receiving, production control, and outbound logistics) across 2 facilities
Ensure all inbound direct material shipments are unloaded, systematically received, and put away in a timely and efficient manner
Monitor all replenishment activity
Provide high level training to new hires
Manage time card submissions, monitor time off requests, and perform all other personnel functions for the warehouse team
Generate quarterly cycle count plan in alignment with finance team requirements
Review all indirect material requests to support engineering and test and development teams
Manage inventory of all equipment and consumable materials
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role
Proficient with ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc), with significant experience with spreadsheets
Solutions oriented leader that attacks problems and resolves root cause issues
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods
