Job Description:

Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all warehousing activities on site to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe management of critical materials that support mining operations. You will lead a capable team while upholding company policies, site procedures, and Peabody’s uncompromising safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, coach, and empower the warehouse team to deliver effective day-to-day operations
  • Build positive internal and external relationships through proactive, transparent communication
  • Maintain high standards of customer service for operational stakeholders
  • Allocate workload, set expectations, and drive best‑practice warehouse processes
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with operational requirements, targets, and KPI frameworks
  • Oversee Warehouse SOX compliance and operational performance metrics
  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation programs
  • Monitor rotable and repairable materials to ensure optimal availability for critical equipment
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight including emergency, heavy haulage, and routine deliveries
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices and workflow tasks
  • Maintain roster coverage, manage leave planning, and support a high‑performance team culture

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in warehousing or supply chain within mining or heavy industry
  • Strong commitment to safety, people leadership, and operational excellence
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Competent in inventory systems and warehousing best practice
