Job Responsibility:
Coordinate all warehouse activities (receiving, shipping, storage, order picking) across departments
Plan and manage inbound and outbound transportation flows
Optimize warehouse layout, storage areas, pallet capacity, and manage priorities and volumes
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards (risks, incidents) and implement preventive and corrective programs
Manage departmental operational budgets and participate in purchasing activities
Optimize the use of resources and equipment
Implement and maintain cycle count programs
oversee and validate annual inventory processes
Analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Ensure data accuracy within the ERP system
Contribute to the optimization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Establish and analyze operational KPIs (productivity, inventory accuracy, service level, receiving/shipping efficiency, etc.) and implement corrective actions when needed
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, cost reduction, process optimization)
Standardize, document, and ensure adherence to operational procedures
Train, coach, and supervise employees while monitoring individual performance
Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new employees
Requirements:
5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (WMS is an asset)
Knowledge of Lean principles (5S, continuous improvement)
Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
Strong leadership and excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
