Job Description:

Warehouse Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations for an electronic refurbishing company, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient processing, shipping, and receiving of electronic products. Must ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise at least 10 – 15 associates
  • Create, manage, and improve processes
  • Responsible for ensuring daily production and quality targets are achieved
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing is available to meet production demands
  • Responsible for individual performance reviews and disciplinary actions for all associates
  • Responsible for training and cross-training of associates
  • Process development and improvement of production flow
  • Ensures proper procedures are in place and being followed for production efficiency, quality of product, and employee safety

Requirements:

  • Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter who thrives in a constantly changing environment and is able to interface with people of all levels. Must be able to lead by example with excellent attendance and work ethic
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing/repair operations with start-up experience is strongly preferred
  • Recycling experience with multiple manufacturers is highly desired
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong ability to prioritize and organize responsibilities to accomplish tasks in an efficient manner
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to coordinate a variety of activities, track important details, follow up on delegated assignments, and meet deadlines
  • May be required to stand or sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs
  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, pushing and pulling of parts and/or part containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, cold or temperature controlled
