The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and executing warehouse operations and procedures in order to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency so that all product, supply and equipment needs are met throughout the venue. Under the direction management, this individual will be supporting the preparation process for events by overseeing tasks and delegating responsibilities to warehouse staff. A top priority will be to ensure that the highest levels of safety, organization and sanitation are maintained throughout all warehousing and storage areas.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinates and plans all warehousing activities with Management team
Delegates responsibilities to Warehouse associates
Assists with the intake of deliveries by receiving, storing and distributing all items to the designated storage locations
Oversees the proper execution of delivering food, beverage and other products throughout the venue in a safe and timely manner
Collects invoices from all new product deliveries as they are received
Responsible for comparing Purchase Orders to what was delivered and communicates any variances or discrepancies to management
Uses storage systems, policies and procedures to ensure maximum use and efficiency of space and storage areas in warehousing operations while utilizing first-in, first-out inventory controls where applicable
Submits reports to management regarding any damage, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of goods to vendor, etc
Inspects stands for deficiencies and reports any and all concerns to Management
Assists with moving any equipment as required for events throughout the venue
Performs general housekeeping and cleaning as needed around all Concessions and Warehouse areas
Ensures compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required by Management
Requirements:
Experience in the receipt, storage or distribution of food and beverage, supplies or equipment preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
Must be punctual and dependable
Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring, if necessary)
Forklift Certification preferred
Nice to have:

Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
