As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead all aspects of Receiving, Shipping, Material Handling, and Inventory Control at our plant. You will prioritize delivering flawless service to both internal and external customers and suppliers. You will strictly adhere to corporate plans for freight movement and offer important feedback regarding contract matters. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing lean improvement projects within your areas.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise the receiving, storage, internal/external transportation of batch-related, miscellaneous, and other materials, maintaining a GMP-compliant warehouse
Coordinate daily operations across all shifts, including performance, attendance, and merit evaluations
Guide Lean Enterprise initiatives within your areas of responsibility
Work together with plant management on transportation, material handling, and inventory control matters that affect plant operations
Commit to employee feedback and developmental processes
Adhere to corporate trade compliance regarding import/export and security
Maintain department schedules to support production without delays
Plan and coordinate the effective movement of materials and finished products between production and warehouse areas
Ensure accurate inventory control procedures and documentation for all raw materials, production supplies, and finished products
Align with all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, regulatory requirements, equipment, policies, and procedures
Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities
Coordinate with Corporate and Divisional Supply Chain goals
Drive engagement in the team through modeling our Leader Behaviors: Communication, Recognition, Feedback, Enabling Success
Requirements:
Reports to the supply chain manager, works with plant management, external customers, and corporate and divisional personnel
Must handle normal stress levels and multiple issues simultaneously
some travel required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5-7 years of related experience
Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and mentoring skills
Knowledge of Lean Enterprise principles
Proficiency with computer systems
Duties may require overtime, including nights and weekends
Ability to lift up to 26 lbs
Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment
Position requires extended periods of standing and walking
