The Warehouse Supervisor guides and controls warehouse activities to ensure accurate storing and distributing of raw materials and finished goods. Supervises timely delivery of merchandise in the amount ordered, while maintaining the security of the warehouse. Provides a safe working environment through compliance of safety programs.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting manager with warehouse operations
Making sure all transfers are complete and daily random transfer audits
Coordinates the planning and assignment of work, achieving the most efficient use of personnel and equipment
Receives incoming shipments and packages from a variety of carriers and enters information into tracking system for disbursement
Uncrates shipments when required and properly disposes of, or stores, containers, and packaging as appropriate
Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality based on the product order and reject any undesirable items
Supervises the warehouse workers, and the inventory always held within to ensure security and upkeep
Provides for training of warehouse employees and may assist with selection of such employees
Assisting with PO’s, transferring TJVs in/out of warehouses, collecting unpaid invoices, adding schedule to Abi, filing, organizing’s warehouse/clean, count product, ensure product is received and delivered, recorded to all stands
Slow periods may assist in other departments with other office duties
If needed you will be required to drive the Aramark truck for event transfers or product pick up
May need to fill in for any warehouse employee that call off and assisting with all transfers and supervising of evening warehouse operations
Oversee the warehouse workers and making sure they are staying productive throughout the shift, and everything gets put away and cleaned up/locked up at the end of the night
Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
Ability to perform basic arithmetic
Maintain emotional control under stress
Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
Strong organizational skills
