Redox is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at our Bibra Lake site in a full-time permanent capacity on the day shift (6am-2:06pm).
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring all who work and enter the warehouse and its’ grounds adhere to Redox’s policies, procedures, and site-specific conditions of Work, Health and Safety (WHS) in compliance with state and federal legislation
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, related logistics activities in co-ordination with the Store Manager to drive DIFOT performance
Ensure inventory management best practices are applied encompassing (but not limited to) container unpacks, stock storage, location, segregation, quantities, packaging, labelling and housekeeping
Responsible for good housekeeping and hygiene standards ensuring that GMP and HACCP compliance along with general warehouse cleanliness is maintained across the warehouse and related grounds
Ability to communicate and work with various stakeholders internally and externally to improve performance and outcomes for the business
Timely and effective execution of warehouse, MHE and safety related maintenance and inspection tasks, remedial action and reporting
Effective and cohesive team management in mentoring, inducting and training warehouse operatives and related functions in processes, systems and operational tasks and functions
Identify and act on opportunities for improvement in co-ordination with the Store Manager, whilst resolving raised quality problems
All other matters as directed by their Store Manager or next level up manager
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ industry experience in a hands-on front-line role
Further education – a Cert IV of Warehousing or similar
Hold a current Australian forklift licence - minimum LF class
Experience operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts
Knowledge of WHS state and federal legislation – demonstratable knowledge required
Knowledgeable of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous substances regulatory handling and storage legislation or be willing to undertake training prior to commencement in the role
Experience in improvement and control systems and processes such as GMP, HACCP, Quality, Lean, Environmental management and CoR
Strong leadership and communication skills in managing and guiding staff at all levels in warehouse operations and related activities
Well-developed time management, reporting and organisational skills
Experience with ERP and WMS tools with focus on warehouse and inventory systems
Ability to work in a well-paced and physically active environment
