As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of Service Stream’s warehouse and logistics functions. This role requires strong organisational skills, a safety first mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a clean, safe working environment. This is a full-time permanent position based at our warehouse facility.
Job Responsibility:
Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycle counts
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner (where licensed)
Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
Manage documentation including delivery dockets, manifests, and inventory records
Support inventory control, stock rotation, and storage optimisation
Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and dispatch
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or store person role
Forklift licence (LF/LO) preferred but not essential
Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch, and stock control
Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS)
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Good communication skills and the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems)
Forklift licence (desirable)
Relevant certificates in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not required)
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WHS standards
