We are looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our team. This role is primarily truck driving focused, with approximately 80% of the role dedicated to operating Vitaco transit trucks between company facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring stock is transported safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and professionalism. When not completing transport runs, you will support warehouse operations within our fast-paced Warehouse environment.
Job Responsibility
Driving Vitaco transit trucks between Warehouse, Distribution Centre and Manufacturing facilities
Safe loading, unloading, and restraint of stock and pallets
Completing pre-start vehicle checks and maintaining transport documentation
Ensuring all deliveries and transfers are completed accurately and on schedule with the correct documentation
Operating Class 2-4 vehicles safely and professionally in line with company and legal requirements
Radio Frequency, (RF) scanning and regular use of Warehouse Management Systems, (WMS)
Supporting warehouse operations including picking, replenishment, putaway, and dispatch tasks
Operating Reach Truck, Counterbalance, and Stock Picker hoists when required
Maintaining housekeeping and safe warehouse practices
Manual handling and lifting of products up to 25kg
Working to operational deadlines and daily KPIs
Requirements
Current NZ Class 4 licence is essential
Proven experience driving Class 2-4 trucks within a transport, warehousing, or distribution environment
Strong understanding of transport safety, load security, and compliance requirements
Current NZ Reach, Counterbalance, and Stock Picker licenses preferred
Experience using RF scanners and WMS
Good numerical and computer skills
Clear written and verbal English communication
Reliable attendance and strong time management
A strong safety mindset and ability to work independently and within a team environment
