Job Responsibility:

  • Analyse supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities
  • Perform data entry of material orders
  • Evaluate planning data for parts requirement determination
  • Perform analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance
  • Responsible for managing communications to supplier and customers
  • Manage inventory to ensure appropriate levels of accountability and traceability
  • Raising inventory requisitions for the request of inventory spares
  • Managing third party owned repairable items
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory in the Inventory management System (IMS) - accountable for cataloguing new inventory, tracking existing inventory, maintaining quality documentation and disposition of assets
  • Be responsible for Shelf Life management as it pertains to stock level determination
  • Deliver against the Program strategic objectives
  • Deliver on commitments and plan to succeed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in supply support roles and functions
  • Demonstrated experience with computerised inventory management systems and methodologies
  • Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, business software and measurement system tools, processes and methodologies
  • A satisfactory level of physical fitness, required to perform certain levels of manual tasking
  • Ability to work under general supervision and exercise discretion where required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain and wider BDA team
  • Strong customer focus
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline level security clearance
