This is a sales and project management hybrid role within the industrial sector. You will act as a consultant for major warehouse operations, helping them maximize their space and efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Consultative Design: Visit client sites to gather operational data, building dimensions, and storage requirements
Project Management: Collaborate with in-house CAD designers to create warehouse layouts
manage projects from quote to final installation and certification
Strategic Sales: Prospect for new business (20% of time) while managing warm leads provided by the equipment and service sales teams (80% of time)
Vendor Liaison: Negotiate with manufacturers and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
Relationship Management: Maintain high-touch contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business
Requirements:
At least 1–3 years of B2B sales experience (outside/field sales preferred)
Ability to visualize physical structures and read technical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus but not required)
Exceptional sense of urgency, organization, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
University Degree or College Diploma preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background check
