Job Description

At 3Shape, we are pioneers in digital dentistry, dedicated to transforming the dental industry with innovative solutions that improve patient care and streamline dental workflows. We are seeking a responsible, organized and collaborative Warehouse and Shipping Associate to join our Production Team in North Carolina. This role will be responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving and keeping the warehouse stocked with essential items. You will play a vital role that coordinates with different areas of the business like Warehousing, Quality and Production to meet delivery promises to the customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Receive and verify all incoming materials/supplies and entering in the ERP system and/or CRM system
  • Managing daily shipments ensuring all shipments are fulfilling local requirements including all needed paperwork
  • Use computer skills to effectively and efficiently communicate, book shipments, and navigate software
  • Material pick and pack for production/service orders
  • Maintain a tidy and clean warehouse
  • Uses the ERP system and data to understand and evaluate inventory and directs warehouse staff to pick stock ensuring compliance with FIFO rules
  • Perform Cycle counts
  • Follow 3Shape procedures, directives, standards, and policy requirements

Requirements

  • Associates degree or 2 yrs work experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Experienced with ERP systems like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics AX Knowledge
  • Experience with domestic & international shipping (min. 2 years)
  • preferably with FedEx
  • Experienced with ISO Guidelines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office required
  • Quality mindset with business approach
  • Ready to learn and to share your knowledge
  • Organized, consistent and communicative
  • Can work with minimal supervision after training
  • Keep detailed, accurate records
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20lbs regularly

  • Perform the physical activities necessary to receive, sort, package, ship and teardown inventory through the designated work stages in the facility
  • Move inventory to appropriate staging areas for further processing as per the statement of work
  • Verify asset counts, sort, and label product
  • Load and unload product onto the production line to route to the appropriate area
  • Disassemble electronic equipment per company and customer specifications, utilizing equipment such as pneumatic power tools
  • Identify and sort commodities into appropriate categories
  • Consolidate and prepare pallets for shipment
  • Utilize material handling equipment
  • Maintain system transactions and paperwork that support and validate the processing and disposition of material
