Warehouse Shift Supervisor

• Lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Plan and manage team of Warehouse Operatives daily to achieve workload
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance to Health & Safety, Employment Law, Food Safety and hygiene standards
• Brief Team Leaders on daily requirements for assigned area
• Cover Shift Manager holiday and absences
• Manage daily tasks to ensure Warehouse achieves planned targets and KPI's
• Manage and understand WMS system
• Maintain and change MHE batteries
• Ensure loading (Freezer/Chill/Dry) is correct and on time
• Ensure shift follows QIP guidelines and completes daily paperwork
• Raise product issues with Quality manager
• Work efficiently as part of a team
• Ensure all cages meet MBUK standards
• Maintain clean and tidy work area
• Maintain high Health and Safety standards
• Achieve targets and job standards set by management
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Perform reasonable requests from management
• Work in multi-temperature food storage environment

• Previous management experience in a similar FMCG operation
• Previous experience of MS computer packages to intermediate level
• Good performance management skills
• Previous experience with conducting interviews
• Formal management skills, experience of employment law, and HR processes
