Job Description:

Warehouse Shift Supervisor, Elland. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our warehouse operates efficiently and meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. You’ll lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and make sure every product is handled, packaged, and delivered correctly.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve daily targets while maintaining a positive, safety-first culture
  • Ensure quality and compliance by overseeing picking, packing, and labelling processes and addressing any non-conformance issues
  • Keep operations on track by delegating tasks, monitoring KPIs, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce waste
  • Champion safety and housekeeping standards across the warehouse, ensuring a clean and organised environment at all times

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working in a busy warehouse role, including team leadership and FLT driving
  • Previous experience managing teams in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and keep operations running smoothly
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
  • Good numeracy and IT skills, with experience producing routine reports
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/Level 4 or equivalent)
  • Willingness to work on a continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotating days and nights)
